Hi,
A few notes on the file to help you along. if you have questions please post on the groups page and I will try and help.

Please note that you do need at least PREVIEW 3 for the files and interactivity to work. You can download this from http://labs.adobe.com

Artwork folder:
contains the illustrator file with the originall artwork. Thank you Michele for the creation of the original art!
images folder contains all the exported assets used for the animation.

You will see several static images also in the folder these are used for placement purposes only, and then disgarded.
---------------------

Edge folder contains:
Begin here:
is the starting point for the hands on session
the static images are placed in the file for reference points and alignment.
we imported the house image and walked through the steps to import an image.
also looked at setting up the "Z" order of files and moving them

Double-clicking on the edge file will open it in the edge program.

Begin here 2 folder contains:
This is the next step in the animation process. the placement images have been removed and we are ready to animate.

featured covered:
1. creating repetative animation with copy and paste (twikling stars)
and repeating this for a second image
2. creating reverse animation with copy and paste inverted (flying bats)
adjusting the pivot point (orgin point)
3. creating reverse animation with a series of images (turning on and off the lights)
copy multiply images and pasting inverted
4. changing the transistion effect to create mood(flying banner)
animated the sequence using the mark and playhead, selected all and applied a bounce transistion effect
5. added labels
6. added triggers (to create looping)
adjusted the timimg of the entire timeline
7. created a paralax scene - 2.5D effect with movement of the background pieces at different speeds
8. final save and then moved to dreamweaver
---------------

finish folder contains:
the finished animation that was completed in the workshop.
yours to change as you like.
--------------

starting folder contains:
is the same as the begin here2 folder as a starting point if you want a fresh file to create your OWN animation!
explore, enjoy and create !!
--------------

Next is dreamweaver

we used a standard templete from dreamweaver with a few added CSS modifications.

home and home2 are again the same. (if you want to create your own layout you have a starting point)
*** We used the final assests / files from the finish folder ***

1. renamed the stage
1a. copied the needed files to the new HTML page
2. inserted a snippit of code to load the images BEFORE excuting the animation.
3. tested in several browsers, SUCCESS !
3. had fun!
